Terms of Business 

 It is important that you are fully informed about how your application will be handled by Ensure protectionLimited herein referred to as "the Company". This page sets out the Company's Terms and Conditions of Business. Please read this entire document carefully and keep in a safe place for your future reference.  We reserve the right to make amendments to these Terms of Business. We will let you know of any changes should they affect your current matter. Copies of the Company's amended Terms and Conditions of Business will be available upon request.  By proceeding with your application constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Business. We the company offer free Insurance reviews based on searching a large panel of providers, the products we can provide our services for are Life Cover /Critical Cover and Income Protection.  We Ensure Protection are Directly Regulated and Authorised by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority), and our registration number is 778857. The company works on a non-advised basis which means we can only show options based on the information we the company have been given.  We do receive a commission from the product provider for helping to arrange the product. We do not charge any upfront fees for our service.  Personal Information  Be aware that your personal and medical information is protected by your chosen provider, and a strict code of confidentiality will be followed. Please do refer to the insurers Privacy policy for more information. In order for us to provide you with the best policy for you we need to collect personal data to assess your eligibility. In any event, we are committed to ensuring that the information we collect, and use is appropriate for this purpose, and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy.  Rights of cancellation  You of course do have a cooling off period of 30 days, and again all the information about this can also be found within the key facts document that will be sent to you from either ourselves the company or your chosen insurance provider.  If you were to cancel your policy within the cooling off period, you should get a refund of any premiums you have already paid. However, your insurer may take off a small amount to cover days when the policy was in force. They may also charge you a small administration fee. Not all insurers follow the same process so again please refer to your policy documentation for further information.  Some insurers may give you a longer cooling-off period. If you are not sure how long your cooling-off period is, you can check the terms of your insurance policy.  If you do decide within the 30-day cooling off period that you do not want the product we have arranged for you. Then to express your right to cancel within the 30-day cooling off period you would need to sign and return the cancellation form where there is one, or phone the provider directly, again this must be done within the 30-day cooling off period in order to avoid charges.   Complaints  It is our intention to always provide you with the highest possible level of customer service. More information is available on request or on their website www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk  Communications/Documentation  We will issue documentation to you in a timely manner. Documentation relating to your insurance policy will confirm the basis of the cover and provide details of the relevant insurers. Your chosen provider will send full documentation once your application is live. It is therefore important that the documentation is kept in a safe place, as you may need to refer to it or need it to make a claim. A new policy booklet is not necessarily provided each year, although a duplicate can be provided at any time upon request. You should always check the documentation to ensure all the details are correct and if this is not the case you should contact us immediately. If documents are issued by electronic means or via an internet portal, paper documents are available free of charge on request.
